UNICEF

UNICEF promotes the rights and wellbeing of every child, in everything we do. Together with our partners, we work in 190 countries and territories to translate that commitment into practical action, focusing special effort on reaching the most vulnerable and excluded children, to the benefit of all children, everywhere.

CAN YOU SEE ME? Clemence (age 16)
Central African Republic - Clemence [NAME CHANGED] was recently released after four years in a rebel group. She now stays in a UNICEF-assisted transit centre and regularly visits her mother, who lives nearby. The centre provides shelter, psychosocial assistance and other support for children previously associated with armed groups and forces while helping to reintegrate them into their families and communities.
