UNICEF

UNICEF promotes the rights and wellbeing of every child, in everything we do. Together with our partners, we work in 190 countries and territories to translate that commitment into practical action, focusing special effort on reaching the most vulnerable and excluded children, to the benefit of all children, everywhere.

Who I Follow

"I couldn’t wait for the school year to start and I’m glad I’m going to carry this bag to school every day," says Ghaith, 6, in rural Damascus.

Since last year, almost 2 million #childrenofsyria aged 6-15 have been forced to drop out of school.

Working with partners, we’re reaching 1 million primary school-aged children all over Syria with school supplies and learning kits.

Its a start but more work needs to be done.
