CAN YOU SEE ME?
Zeshan (age 13) began life on the streets after his father died and his mother abandoned him. He now lives in a shelter in Lahore, Pakistan. His basic needs are met, but Zeshan says that children are beaten there. He works long hours at a gaming parlour to earn about US$0.50 a day. “I wish my parents … were with me,” he said. “I could go to school … I could have a decent life.”
